Right you guys and girls!
I've been doing a lot of work in the background and as a result Mr Alex Burns, Richard Burns father, will be gracing us with his presence on the Burns Maiden City cruise on the 28th November 2010!!!
Alex will be making a long weekend trip to Norn Iron to do some sightseeing and wants to take part in the cruise and fun on the day, he will hopefully be in his RB320 No 001 but if not will be in another Subaru.
He is actually quite a shy man so there will be no kerfuffles but he will hopefully present the trophies for the run which will make it very special for the winners!
He just wants to come along and enjoy the day but doesn't want a fuss made.
So PLEASE - BEG, BORROW or STEAL a Scooby for the day, get your MOT/NCT done, cancel your SORNs and please come along and show our support for Alex and the Richard Burns Foundation - this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity!
We would like to see more cars than on last years run (85) so lets have a day to remember for everyone and give Alex a nice taste of Irish hospitality!
As a footnote, I am personally funding Alex's trip, so if any of you would like to contribute to this as well as the RBF it would be most welcome!
