Hesitation without fault code

Im having a bit of an issue with the car hesitating under acceleration, there no CEL light flashing or coming on
There is no fault codes showing up
Sometimes the hesitation is only up the rev range
sometimes it only down low in the range
Sometimes it happens thru the entire rev range

Im going to look at it tomorrow, what should i look for?
Going to check for split pipes (boost leak)
how do i check the MAF?
any other suggestions as to what it could be?

could be wrong but could be the knock sensor.. think it can cause a hesitation and not throw up a cel all the time..

hmmmm would never have thought of that in a month of sundays.......
how would i check it?
I thought it was a fecked spark plug, but they were all changed a couple of weeks ago when it was serviced....

Knock sensor will throw up a cel. If only happening recent i would check the plugs.... never eliminate cos only changed... could have been damaged on installation.

Seems to be a lot of us having this problem. It was happening with mine recently, I changed the spark plugs with no luck and the MAF was perfect.
I brought it to the dealer, they reset and upgrade the ECU and it sorted the problem.
