I have a aftermarket steering wheel in my car with a subaru boss.

Does anyone know what to do to get the horn working with it or to wire it up to work.

Cheers

The after market wheel should have come with everything to wire up the horn.

Didnt know that Jamie. They should really in this health and safety world of ours.

There's a metal clock spring usually fitted on the steering column that you can see when you remove the standard wheel... and most aftermarket wheels don't have the opposite metal disc that makes contact with this on them as standard. You might be able to get a kit for if from the maker...or try and fabricate something up yourself.

Other option is to just wire it up to seperate button on dash... not very practical though and a little off putting if you need to find the horn in a hurry!

:lolpoint:
Have mine next to i/c spray buttons, fair disaster if you have to use it in anger :wall:
With clock spring and brass??? ring it should work as did on my wrx,but i just butchered my clock spring on this car :icon_rolleyes:
