Turbo or Headgasket???

hi i no my turbo is gone as i took it out today so this mite sound stupid but is it possible to lose coolant through the turbo if there is a lot of play in the shaft???????
Any help nd comments welcome

Could be wrong but you've no other replies so I'll give it a shot...

I don't think play in the shaft would cause a coolant leak... The shaft is spun on bearings which are lubricated and cooled with oil, coolant wouldn't be mixed with this or you'de be making mayonaisse... So i don't think play in the shaft would cause a loss of coolant...

I would be looking at the pipes or nipples for cracks in the metal if you have a coolant leak and suspect the turbo..
