Turbo Timer Alarm Activation while engine running

Jaak

Petrolheads
I installed a APEXi Turbo Timer into my leggy.
It works fine, but when the engine is running without the key, the alarm&immobilizer wont activate. Only once the engine is turned off.

Is there a way to wire the alarm so it would not detect the engine running, thus activating the immobilizer and alarm when I remove the key from the ignition and let the TT run?

Thanks,

I dont think so, clifford alarm or similar with built in turbo timer/alarm is needed.
If both seperate im not sure its possible.

As above, you'll need a clifford turbo timer fitted.

It can be wired the way your talking about but it is a really bad idea. I wont go into details on the public part of the forum.

If you want to discuss this PM me

i have been told you can lock the car with the TT running but your sensors inside the car will be deactivated by disconnecting 1 wire... not something i would recommend tbh.

I just use the Subaru central locking on the key to lock the doors and then arm the Clifford when i know the engine has stopped running.
