Any experience with a VF35 turbo?

I have sourced a VF35 on a classic model and he is selling it for €350. it is apparently immaculate. I was wondering if anybody has any experience with these turns and would I need extra mods to my 99, along with the remap of course?
 
u woud not have to change injectors but u could if u wanted to spend the money, u would need a fuel pressure reglator, make sure the turbo has no crack near the waist gate, the vf 35 are prone to this :thumbsup:
 
Its just a WRX you have big_red? Surely you would need to upgrade injectors?
 
It's actually an original Irish car but it was rebuilt by Ali Burrows and it seems to put out around 280bhp......its quite confusing :lol: but it is a Irish car originally! I was looking it up and apparently I just need an uprated fuel pump and the injectors issue is one which is both sided. As far as I know you can use the standard injectors, but with such an upgrade I would also add the uprated injectors too, just to be safe.
 
you could fit an FPR to push the standard injectors but i would prefer bigger injectors.
 
factory fuel reg and injectors would cope if on standard engine and top mount..

fuel pump and remap.
