las where wii i find heat shields,have a bit of rattle sounds like behind dash i think only when its hot i hear these noises i hope its happens about 1500 2000 rpm and then it goes?

The only heat shield I know of is the one on the turbo. Are you sure its behind the dash?

could be the downpipe sheild your hearing

yes its a slight rattle sounds like behind mid dash lower but.got car home let her cool started and no rattle or knocking.if it was engine trouble would it make noise from cold?

heatsheild would not rattle sitting static, are you getting a rattle when sitting still?

You could be hearing piston slap from cold but would go away when warm
