ecu question

in the new year im going to be making some changes to the P1,freshen up the engine and the rest.
my question is, is there much difference between simtek and syvecs ecu.from what ive been reading
is the syvecs has a knock control and plenty of goodies to match compaired to simtek.

Syvecs has more map settings and is reported to give steadier boost... More adaptable to, can be used in a standard B4 with the same ecu then used to map a single turbo conversion ... Anti-lag may also work rather than just making noise like simtek... It'd be a good idea to email a couple of mappers and see what they'd recommend for your situation/spec.. Are you going for power where you would require an aftermarket ecu, yes?
