leak

lads had me battery out dont know if this caused this but i topped ut the coolent via lid on n/s in front of battery seems like there is a leak from pipe it looks like pipe goes behind n/s wing.where does this pipe feed wnd by the way car is a 99 wrx sti any help appreciated lads

use your header tank to top up your coolant, that lid you used acts as an overflow, its supposed to let coolant out of the rad/engine i think if there ever was a problem....
someone more mechanically minded will be along shortly to explain it properly...
when i first got my rs i topped up that lid/pipe thing with coolant and it just flowed back out

You topped up at the wrong place. That is for coolant overflow.

Top up the coolant at the header tank.
