Lads I need 2 new front tyres.

At the moment I have 4x Eagle F1 GSD3 but they are not made anymore. They only make the Eagle F1 Assymetrical.

I know there has been a big debate before about Eagle F1's Vs Toyo T1R's but now I wanted to throw the Hankook K110 into the mix. I hear good things and they get great reviews. They are cheaper then the rest and meant to be the best value for money.

So what do you think? Have you used them?

Opinions please

Are they the assymetrical or the GSD3 ?

I have my Eagle F1 GSD3's over a year and only the front need to be replaced. I love them, great grip

You're on 18's aren't you Phil? 215/35?

If so then Camskill also have the Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas for the same price as those Hankooks.

I've on my second set of vredesteins & keith dublin also got a set last time & thinks they're very good too

I bought eagle f1 gsd3 tyres from my local tyre centre 3 weeks ago, maybe some tyre centres have them still?

With any luck they do, I like to have 4 of the same tyres on the car. I'm a bit OCD like that

What place did you get them from?

Yeah Brian 215/35/18

Haven't heard much about those verdesteins but must look into them now.

Have yourself or Keith ever had F1 GSD3 or Toyo T1R? Would be good if someone had a comparison.

It dont say in the tyre so looked up the tyres online to find a pic with the same threads... they are teh GSD3's ---> they look like that http://www.rotationuk.com/gbu0-prodshow/goodyear_eagle_f1_gsd3_225_40_18_92y_xl.html

Spot on Aaron, They are getting hard to find and even harder to find in my size.

Where did you get yours?

assymetricals are better than GSD3's go for them, or the Vredsteins both great tyres, have Vredsteins on mine at the minute, slightly stiffer side wall the goodyears i think

Yeah I'd like to get the Assymetricals Dan but I dont have the cash for 4 at the min :wall:
