Vacuum Hoses

Anyone able to tell me what the common size of vacuum lines around the engine bay is? Been looking on the interweb for some coloured silicone piping but seeing a lot of different sized kits which consist of 3, 5 and 7mm lines or else 4, 6 and 8mm lines. Unsure which to go for or even if they would make that much of a difference.

While we're on the subject can anyone point me in the direction of some decent quality kits that won't break the bank. I know Samco etc are top notch but i just can't stretch the budget that far at the minute.

These were the ones i had been looking at. http://cgi.ebay.ie/93-Subaru-Imprez...CarParts_SM&hash=item20ad58e9b3#ht_1696wt_911

Bumpity Bump.

I want to redo all the vacuum hoses in my Leggy as well.
Is the size 3mm or 4mm then?

Cheers,

a steal, get it snapped up.

4mm will do your job and use small cable ties or clips for the boost piping and you will be sweet.
