cant add my pic(avatar)

wrong section i no but someone here mite no. have followed all instructions on how to add avatar, use photobucket, but i just get an x in the box wher the pic should be (as ye can prob see!!) any ideas?
 
Send Steve (hiwd) a PM there and ask for his help,

I reckon you're trying to add a picture thats too big...try resizing the image downwards & give it another bash. Failing that then its a question for Steve
 
As Brian said, the picture is more than likely too big. Upload it to www.imageshack.us first, there is an option there to resize it to avatar size :thumbsup:

The problem I had was when I was pasting my link from photobucket I never deleted the http supplied by de box so I had mine like this

http/http/bla bla bla

delete the first http then paste :thumbsup:
