Engine Oil

Yes I know we did this on the last forum not so long ago but its helpful for people, esp for new scooby owners who may come on and do a search for info on Oil. And there are so many new people joining at the moment.

So what oil are we all using.

Ive been using Motul 15.50 the last few times now.

personaly i wouldnt use anything else, although engine oil grades are very important they asrent as important as gearbox oil grades. if you dont use the right gearbox oil your asking for trouble.

Is Motul 15.50 semi or fully Syn

Scruff - I'm surprised to see you replying to an engine oil thread . After all your Forester runs ok without oil ! :D
 
Castrol EDGE sport 10w/60, which is now replaceing Formula RS, same as Kenn. Exceptional quality fully synth oil
