Buying from china

Just seen silicone hoses on ebay and they in china and are roughly 45 euro but just wondering bout the tax, how much wud it be. Did any of ye ever get anything from there

Lets say the price is 100 bucks,ask them to value it 45 bucks and the most you should pay is 21% of 45 bucks(about 10 bucks).Often i have got stuff from China,Thailand and escaped tax completely. I was not alway impressed with the quality of far eastern gear though.They don't repect patents generally and make stuff cheaply rather than good.If i was buying radiator hoses i would rather they were good rather than cheap.

VAT@21% for anything over ~20€. They seem to be charging it now though

Lads... stuff from China and especailly at that price are renowned for not being good quality. I personally I wouldn't risk fitting substandard parts on my car even if it did save me a few quid! Just my opinion!
