any power if turbo goes

if the turbo is gone will the car have any power at all... :ponder:
just a mate has bought a car and when he was geting it picked up with the lorry car transporter they said it was just about able to climb up the ramps to the top...
he ask'd me about it but iv never seen anything with a turbo gone so dnt know what it would be like..anyone here any ideas :ponder:
 
he dnt say anything about smoke but id say so...he bought it as the turbo gone so we kind of expected smoke ,but think he is kinda worried now with it haveing no real power at all...could it be more than just the turbo or when the turbo is gone does all the power go to... :dunno:
 
No turbo, No power, the car wud drive like a 950cc ford festa :oops:
had the same prob with a cossie of mine, thats how i knows :whistle:
 
funny you say a cossie you had :D
the car the mate has bought is a 86 3dr cos....
so he mite have nothing to panic about so with no power.. :pray:
 
No Power lots of smoke .Dont drive the car if the turbo is gone if the seals are gone this will leek oil (HEAT AND OIL !!!FIRE) i have some experence on this one.
