I feckin bashed the feckin sump of my feckin golf on a feckin lump of wood on the feckin road today! :wall: for feck sake!
She's very low, I saw the wood on the road in the middle of my lane, there was oncoming trafic so no going around it, and lads pretty close behind me that would not have appreciated me stamping on the brakes for a (relatively) small peice of wood,
So I lifted my bum out of the seat, Like that would help, I just hoped she wasn't to low but then Whack! and a couple of little whacks!
Pulled in, I couldn't see anything wrong,
Jacked her up when I got home, feckin puddle of oil underneath her,
there are crackes that are seeping oil either side of the sump bung!
I dried the area and filled the cracks with a construction glue (like silicon) as a temperary measure untill I can get a sump for her, I can fit that myself, I have done it before!
But While under there, I spotted that both rubber boots on the passo drive shaft and the outside boot on the drivers side one are split open and leaking grease!
I would like to fix these myself, I need to save my money to get the scooby fixed!
A bit of a how to guide would be very much appreciated!
Thanx lads!
Dan
