Inlet manifold question?

Cosworth advertise their subaru inlet manifold as being something like twice the volume of a scooby item,
so if the volume of the manifold is relevent to power,
Then the fact that the standard manifold is longer on the driver side than it is on the passo side because it goes over the turbo inlet pipe!
Would that make a difference??

I reckon it would all depend on how much air your heads can flow and the boost that you are running.
