well its actually more of a noise issue , its squeals like a mad thing with the clutch out but as soon as i depress the clutch the noise disappears , im thinking its pressure plates need adjusting as the bite of the clutch is perfect and its not slipping , ohh this is on the 106 i got as a runabout not the scoob , anyone shed some light on weather im correct in thinking pressure plate or is it something else i have missed ? is there any adjustment on them ?

Release bearing or flywheel spigot bearing :ponder: Not 100% on pugs

the release bearing is mounted on a sleeve that is secured to the gearbox with 3 bolts , your release bearing is very close to falling apart and wearing the sleeve ,very common fault on pugs ,time to remove the gearbox

had the same thing in a old 106 I had myself

Clutch exploded on the motorway between Portadown and Antrim 1 night at silly speeds!!!!!!
