Oil cooler problem?

Petrolheads
There is a crack in my oil cooler so the oil and coolant is mixing. I went to subaru and got one off them, turned out to be wrong and now they tell me they cant get the one that is on my car. Anyone any ideas where else to try or what else could i do???? :subaru: Thanks

The wrong one? I was nearly sure that oil modine's are all the same except for the hatchback and new legacy :ponder:

They have to be able to get them, sure all classic and newage are the same part
 
Oh and I wouldn't risk a second hand one, in case its from a big end failed car or something else that left a lot of metal in the oil, it can get trapped in the modine and lead to engine and or turbo failures :thumbsup:
 
The one in my car is different apparently, i would have thought they were all the same aswell but the guy i was getting to do it worked for subaru and said this one is different to any other and when i gave subaru my chassis number they told me they couldnt get it so has me confused
