locked door

have another sily problemwith my car. :hammerhead: the passenger door does not open from both inside and outside. I managed to take a half of the door card out and everything is connected. However, there is no presure when the switch lock (the one which is inside the car ans slightly above the door handle) is moving.

Any ideas how to fix that or at least open the door?

Did you have any paint work done on that door had a similar problem with one where the cable was not reconnected properly at the lock
and the door couldnt be opened .If you can pull the door card back you should be able to flick the lock switch to the open position and the outer handle should work then .
 
subaru garage quote me 293 + VAT which is mad price for a lock.

however, I need not the whole lock but the electric part of it. the door is now working but have to open and lock it manually from inside.
