Ok lads fitted an electric evc today between the centre section and back box on my nur spec.No instructions came with it,thing is
when it was closed it was closed fully,so i drilled 4 8mm holes on the butterfly because it was choking the engine.The difference in sound is
amazing.I noticed the acceleration was very slow with it closed this evening so may have to drill a few more holes tomorrow.My question is
if the exhaust was fully blocked or overly restricted what is the worst case senario engine,turbo wise?

but recon you might blow something.Gases will have to escape somewhere.

Havent seen electronic ones(or got one myself yet) but recon it shouldnt be fully closed at all

will do some more testing tomorrow,just dont want to wreck the engine

I'd be interested to know if it holds back the power at all when it's open?

I wouldnt close it off completely if i was you ....
that surely cant be good for the engine ...
it'd be like the old prank of shoving a spud up someones exhaust .....

and as for when its in fully open position , i would love to see some before and after figures from a rolling road , just to see if there was any difference , i know the difference should be negligible , but i'm still curious ,

any one gonna offer to do it ,
