Hi lads, just need a few questions answered, as some of ya know
i purchased a B4, triptronic, as its twin turbo do ya fit 2 boost gauges (prob stupid question)
2nd stupid Q, is how does dumpvalve sound on them??
3rd stupid Q, how do they sound with backbox??

Only 1 gauge needed.

HKS dumpvalve sounds well. I had a blitz valve on before and it sounded well to but didn't always make a sound depending on were you were in the rev range, can't say the same for the HKS.

3rd stupid Q, how do they sound with backbox??
You get the usual rumble if there is a decatted centre section also. I have a ZeroSports backbox and it was a bit quiet until i fitted the centre section.

There were changes to the rev-d engines-possibly it was reduced???
 
Why would you think the DV worsens the VOD? Purely in your head... When you accelerate through the VOD, the DV is closed and doesn't activate regardless of whether you have a standard recirc or vent to atmosphere so cannot possibly have an effect...
 
Maybe it was a problem with the DV then? :dontknow: ... Some people reckon it makes a difference, some people don't... As i explained above though, it won't make a difference unless there is a problem with it
