crankshaft pulley (sorted)

i think i have found the cause of the vibration in the engine, the crank pulley seems to be spinning "like a rugby ball" [see vid below]
the bolt is tight and have no idea how it got this way?

i have taken the bolt off, and now the pulley. I cant tell if the pully itself is fecked or if its the shaft its attached to

inside of it was fecked, a piece broke off or wore down
getting a new one in the morning :) :thumbsup:

Exact same thing happening to mine - the power steering belt has popped off twice, so am glad i found this thread, at least I know it's only a worn pulley and not a knackered crankshaft.

Is this a DIY job Kudz?
 
yep its simple, just unbolt old pulley, slide it off and slide new one on , bolt it back up and all done :thumbsup:
 
Just got mine off... shocked at how worn it is... :shock2:
