Wheel Cleaner.

Hi Folks what is the best alloy wheel cleaner and what is the best bug and tar remover many thanks John Lewis.

best bet will be Autoglym John , Cant get better imo , and easily available from any motor factors , or alternatively ask Sweetcakes , he's a fountain of knowledge as regards cleaning the cars

The most aggressive stuff that you can get in Halfords is 'Wonder Wheels' from Carplan... This is very acidic and should only be used rarely if the wheels are very bad... If you use it once and then put on a wheel sealant, then you won't need to use it again as long as the wheels are protected.. i have loads of it there that i use on some mates cars that are very bad.. There are loads of other 'safe wheel cleaners' on the market in the UK like Bilberry etc but any all purpose cleaner would be enough to clean the wheels from then on if they are protected
