Door locking problem

After the accident my driver's door lock doesn't work. It seems to be locked all the time, as I can't switch the lever inside into unlock position. Something is blocking it.
Also I'm unable to lock it using the key.
The remote control is activating the alarm only - the central locking doesn't work.

In the beginning I thought maybe there was no power as my battery has been drained completely, but after I recharged and connected it - still doesn't work.

I checked the fuse under the bonnet - is ok.

If u cant lock it wit key id say a locking bar is bent in door or has come off a holder .take off door panel and have a look

So u suggest it's rather something mechanical ? I must have a look at the mechanism inside then..

Definitely sounds like a mechanical problem....
