Looking through the net for how much pressure a ej conrod can take and came across this beatuy a lad loaded the wrong map drag racing :doh:

Must of been steel rods......Thats nothing, heres what can happen to standard rod when a vacum pipe comes off

That engine cant be rebuilt, case are fooked, where that conrod came through is where knock sensor once was

On its rotation, the broken rod notched a piece out of bottom of cylinder and out of 1 of my lovely CP pistons :icon_cry:
 
Amazingly that bit of a rod thats left, is still spinning freely on bearing.
Maybe a bit of chemical metal would do the trick :)
