WERE ABOUTS IS THE FUEL FILTER IN A 06 IMPREZA RX MODEL NON TURBO???

AFAIK it just behind the battery.

Its either black or gold colour, steel, and has 2 rubber pipes going onto it

Should be in tank. As in with fuel pump.

still lost guys had a mechic look at it today wen he was changing the timing belt and he could find it anywere in the engine.. any more suggestions???

Should be in tank. As in with fuel pump.

As dave said its with the frul pump. On the legacy its under the passenger back seat. Unscrew the plate and it will be there

Make sure you also replace upper and lower seals as originals shape will distort.
