As far as I know, there is no date stamped on the block anywhere!!!
Some body more knowleagable may say otherwise, but as far as I know, there would be no way to know!!
All the bits bolted to her would be the origonal bits, the bolt on bits changed alot over the years, so lads would be able to tell by them, but I think the bottom end is just EJ20!
Hope I'm wrong!
Saying that, Mileage and the life the engine has had is more important than the age,
If you are at all concerned, get her over to one of our traders for a helth check!!
