Folks, by now most of you have heard about my Forester (got it back thank God) so this is a seperate topic.
I'm getting a Clifford fitted but what happens if I sell the car later, can the the clifford be removed and transferred to another car?
Just curious really....

It can be removed and installed in another car, but it is allot of work. You gotta pay someone the labour to remove it and install it again.

Steve.

more difficult to find a guy interested in fitting a previously fitted alarm i would guess!!!!
my alarm fitter said that alarms generally only have a shelf life of 3/4 years anyhow....
by then they are obselete!!!

What steve said is spot on. I've done it but its a lot of work. And unless its going into the same model car then wires will need to be extended and its time consuming stuff. Its not cost effective unless you get someone to do it as a favour or on the cheap
