Manifold upgrade - Subaru noise lost

I fitted an uprated manifold to my car and lost the flat 4 thump ,what i want to know is if theres an uprated manifold that keeps the thump of will i have to keep the standard manifold if i want to keep the flat 4 thump ? :dontknow:
 
i thought you were only supposed to have equal length headers with the twinscroll turbos? I know id i wanted to change to unequal length headers i would need to change turbo too from what i have read. Think of it as a sleeper impreza now Tommy!
 
Ah right i see ,are the uprated ones worth the money if i was to go for an unequal length one? they seem to be around 500-600euro, id get a bigger turbo for that kind of money

iv had this manifold on my car the last 5 months but i miss the scooby noise now :sad:
 
Unless you have like 450bhp or something like that!
Ported standard headers and up pipe would be the best bet!!
But as above, RCM and gt spec both do unequel lengths!
You would want to keep the equel length if you have a twin scroll turbo though!
I would do what ever it takes to get the rumble back!
