18" alloys on a type r

Hi all,

thinking about putting a set of 18"s on my type r ... the biggest I have ran in the past has always been 17"s - anyway my question is could I expect any issues with putting a set of 18" speedlines with 225/45 tyres on ... ie. any rubbing ? would I need to roll the arches ? The car has standard suspension btw.

As Dagnut said stick with 215 you wont have any problems, when i fitted 18 inch wheels on my type r with standard suspension, the ride got a bit stiffer thats the only thing i noticed.
 
Cheers lads ... going to give them a go - 225s on them at the moment so hopefully I wont have any major rubbing issues
 
Paddy I have 18" 235 R40 ....................no there is no prob when turning but if you have
3 lads in the back it will rub when going over humps & bumps etc.....

Defo get the 215 and you'll be fine ....................!!
