Alarm problem

Lads,
Got the knock sensor replaced in C&R today and when i got home,i armed the car but the alarm didnt chirp and the red light that flashes when the alarm is armed is on constantly now when armed. I rang C&R to see if the knock sensor would interfere wit the alarm but they said no. Any ideas what would be up the alarm?

unless they knocked a wire loose when installing the knock sensor ....
have a look around the alarm box and see if you can see anything ,

is there a bonnet switch????
not sure that would cause your problem!!!

Not too sure where the main box is,il have a look,

spring loaded switch to trigger the alarm if the bonnet is opened....
what type of alarm is fitted???

marko , its more than likely sigma alarm they seem to be trouble

Its a hornet alarm thats fitted,dont think it has a bonnet catch

Anyone know anywhere southside of the city I could bring the car to see if I can get the alarm sorted???

All sorted now, alarm just needed to be reset, didnt do myself, but alls good now.
