Bardahl Octane Booster

dossie01

Petrolheads
Anyone tried it? I know that NF and Lucas are the mutts nuts, dont believe the + 5 octane points as it says on the tin, but certainly a bit cheaper than the other 2, anyone any good/bad comments??

You can believe the +5 points on the tin... That equate to 0.5octane so if you add that to a tank of 95octane, you get 95.5octane... They advertise it so it looks as though its +5octane but its not... Waste of Money IMO...

You'd be as well having a slash into your tank..stick with NF or Lucas
[/quote]

it can be quite painful though if the wind blows the fuel cap shut while your doing this

wouldnt use any octane booster isoctane and toluene, full of mmt and mmt is bad for injectors and sensors and exhausts,ok using a bit on a trackday or so but for everyday use can lead to problems.
