what intercooler?????????????

Hi all,

I have a front mount intercooler with a td0518g on my ver3 and the lag is considerable to say the least.Was wondering would i benefit from moving back to a top mount intercooler for lag purposes or would the benefits be little or none. I get a bar at around 4800rpm. Any other suggestions on reducing the lag???????????

The car is mapped with a power fc and I have an avcr boost controller.

Can anti lag be gotten for the power fc

Why not go for 1 of the newer top mounts?
What power ya pushin out? is the front mount really necessary?
Or are ya like me and just want the fm for the looks?

i think so, see it said on here somewhere.
it shouldnt be too laggy as the 18g is aimed for a 2.0.

She's 328bhp I like the look of the fm alright but I think its the fm thats lagging me up

She only achieves full boost at 5000rpm since i put the fm on and i've had it mapped since I have gt spec headers on her to and i know they lag it aswell but shouldn't be that much lag surely.

as you said should be no noticeable lag...

if near me sure drop in and will have a drive and advise... would think ecu map
