Lads went looking at a 98 v3 v limited yesterday had an sti dash but no red top engine or dccd but had v3 on the seats and the v limited plate ok is there a non sti version
 
v3 only went up to 97

red could have come off engine from power washer and i pretty sure they did a wrx version

Not necessarily. Same way you can get a 2001 registered classic. Its possible. It could be a very late model V3 and not registered until early 1998. Model number only way to be sure.

Off topic Jonnie, but how safe is it to power wash your engine?
 
i have done it with every car ive ever had steve and never a problem

i use engine degreaser all over keep the engine running and dont get to close and youll be grand

dont go directly on to the intercooler to close, incase you bend fins

Cheers man. Mine could do with a good clean. I've a front mount so don't have to worry about the fins :icon_grin:
