MAF Sensor needed

Hi Guys,
   From reading the forums, I guess this happens a bit but my MAF sensor has gone south. I've got quotes for a genuine subaru one (22680AA310) but they are fairly expensive. Do any of ye know where I can get one at a decent price or even a good spurious sensor ? What experience have ye of spurious MAF sensors?

It's best to stick to the genuine MAF.

Should be about 120 euro from any Subaru Dealer and may be cheaper from Donnelly's (even cheaper if you are a full ISDC Member ;) )

Tks P1 Alan. Try a multiple of 4 on the price. Genuine MAF is 500+ yoyos.

Have ont there out of my 99 type r it perfect i just changed it to give my head peace.
 
Ok, now ye got me worried.
If I drive with a bad MAF sensor....Whats the consequences, long term or not ?
 
The wrong amount of cotrolled air thet the intake is taking in is wrong...therefore your fuel air mixture is wrong could cause prblems with the detination...therefore could cause serious engine problems....you can drive it slowly as the car will go into limp mode,limiting your drive safe mode for the engine...as Dave said new one asap...
