Removing BOV

Hi,

I mapped my STi with an aftermarket BOV (phhsst....!). If I remove it and put back the standard Subaru one (re-circ?) or any other brand will it affect the map?

Are the Subaru ones fully re-circ?

When i got my type r mapped by andy f. I had the oem re-circ fitted and i asked him about fitting a blow off valve after the map and he told me it wont affect the map at all, so i think it should be the same for you.
 
after market ones have no performance gain!!!!
its just the sound i thought which is doing my head in!!!
