Transmitter that plays iPod on car head unit

I have the Macally cup transmitter and find once your are not directly on top of an existing station it works fine :dontknow: What i am saying is try to find a frequency between stations. Usually towards the higher end where the pirates hang out. :geek:

my brother had the same one as that john,
it would only work when it wanted to, it wrecked his head...
he ended up getting a head unit with a mp3 connection instead.....

I have something similar that i got in Currys ages ago...
Plugs into cigarette lighter to charge the ipod at the same time.....
i normally stick to lowest possible channel freguence!

not bad thing just not quite perfect either

I tried one before and hated it, the sound quality is horrible. Cable all the way John.

I have one of the Gear4U ones for my Creative MP3 player, its crap! Used it a couple of times cant be arsed anymore.
Sound quality is brutal and inconsistent!

its the worst one i hate it bought it in work
using one now belong to a mate called ventury its excellent its got bluetooth
so its a carkit aswell using it through bluetooth on my phone and ipod touch

I've noticed iPod's in general are not very loud when an audio cable is plugged into them. Best to get a radio that uses the iPod data cable and can actually control the iPod as well. Much better sound then.

One of the lads in my job had one it seemed good , but dont see him useing it any more.
I have a pionner head unit and got a box which goes into the i pod to thehead unit works well.
