Belt change how often?

60,000 miles/100,000k km or within 5 years..

Now you need to check was idler pulleys or timing tensioner changed at 88km when your belt was done.

If not then 123km with 8/9 year old tensioner and idler pulleys you may need to consider it at next service..

Dave, just if you could let me know a price, as im not sure if pulleys were done, the sticker is a gates sticker so i guess thats the belt but i cant read if it says pulleys etc were done?

if you are unsure of the history, i would change them for peace of mind. the cost of repairing it if it goes wrong greatly outways the cost of fitting them now as preventative maintainance. also check the waterpump.
 
As above safety is better then cost of engine damage..

Water pumps rarely give trouble on subarus but check as part of timing belt chanage..
