legacy wheels

can anyone tell me the correct offset for legacy wheels, i have 18's at the minute and find there rubbing the arches a bit, i dont know what offset they are maybe there right and would i be as well off go back to 17's? thanks, alan,

They are the same as the Impreza AFAIK.

I have 18's on my Impreza but can't remember the offset, I'll check and let ya know.
I know you can't go wider than 7.5" without them rubbing.

My offset on the 18's is 48
and they don't rub running 215/35/18

thanks! all i know is my tyres are 225/40/18 that could be the problem right there!

Yeah those tyres are too wide. I had 225/40/16 on my car before without issue but they where nice and small. I tried 225/45/17 off a newage and they rubbed like crazy

If you look at the Revs per mile you'll see that the 35 are faster than your 40's so you'd be quicker too

think my rims may be 9 inches wide, time to buy wheels i reckon!
