my resevoir is leaking fluid and on closer inspection the O-Ring between the pump and resevoir is fecked (fell to pieces)
i bought an ordinary o ring and fitted but still leaking and worse than was

someone said you can only get the o ring off Subaru as part of a service kit which i was told might not be too cheap

anyone else have to do similar or does anyone know where i can get a seal?

abby seals they are near hino on the naas road just bring the old one they have every sort of seal there should be able to help you.
 
cheers Keith :thumbsup: ... the old seal is in pieces and gone :whistle: i have the resevoir off so could bring that but am unsure how thick the seal needs to be, dont want another too big or too small and wont seal properly
 
got a load of o rings this morning they are either too thick or too thin (i feel like goldilocks here)
rang subaru they have to email head office to see if they can get a part number
found a kit online but its in the USA

surely somewhere would/should have a proper seal/kit

there is no damage to the resevoir/pump side so i have ruled out a leak from that
 
Surely Froggy or someone who breaks them would have 1 lyin about?

Get on the phone to him... Id say he will have sumit there to help ya out fella
