B4 Air con pully

I looked at a 96 B4 with a buddy last night and the pully for the aircon was making a weird noise and the pully internals were rotating some of the time

aNY INFO??

Think they the same as the Impreza ones, sometime the bearing inside makes a mad noise as they tend to wear out but don't think they're serviceable, might have to be replaced

have to replace the entire pump. over a grand i think

will look for a second hand one

the magnetic pump kicks in and out while car running and thats why you will see the centre piece stoping and starting but if it is low on gas it bang in and out alot... a bit of wd40 will quiten it for awhile if it not too fecked... if u tightened the belt it mite sort it as well... if you change the pump you wil have to get it regased.. i am an refrig engineer if you have any questions pm me...
