Hi Folks lately when I have full or nearly full lock there is like a little jump up through the steering wheel like Ive gone over something and I can hear it also any ideas thanks John L.
 
pump is working its hardest on a full lock.....
not so sure you would feel it back through the steering wheel though!!!!

If this happens while you are stationary, it has happened to my last 3 Subarus. Don't know what it is but it never caused me any problems.
 
check the colour of the fluid man it should be a pinky colour if not it needs to be changed can cause concerns with steering
