ok managed to get a sound clip together ,

your hear what im talking about best at 3secs, 7secs and 41secs....................you might need to turn it up a bit but this is recorded inside the cab (maybe im going mad)

theres deffo a faint whine/whistle coming from something , and it seems to be linked to the turbo ....but only at certain spots in the range

I hear something there alright and it reminds me of when I had a Starlet GT Turbo all those years ago :lol:

There was a crack in the wastegate housing of the CT9 turbo and it made the same noise as that.

Does it happen when the engine is cold or warm or both?
 
Both ! I'm finding mix result could be
The change in pitch is when the Turbo starts to spool properly (make boost).
Because of all the mods, it's probably doing it a lot quicker!!!?
I'm not going to let it reck me head i've got my nct next week so get that out the way then bolt on my final mods and get remapped and see how we sit then ;)

Ah no, sounds like a leak, have you checked your pipework?
 
check your dumpvalve. i had de same problem last week n all it was is a small air leak out of it cos de gasket was damaged
