ABS

Why do doughnuts turn off the ABS for 10 to 15 minutes?
Anyone know what the position button on the steering column does?

Moves the steering wheel higher and lower maybe

Is it the one with the red on the front of it ??

If it is, thats for park lights with the key out

its something to do with lights i think????? the only thing i can think of is auto hight adjust if you have a trailer

Doing doughnuts will bring on your ABS lights because the rear wheel spin speed is not the same as front wheel spin speed and that confuses the ABS Brain it does not know what is going on and thinks theres a problem with 1of the 4 ABS wheel sensors.. Even an S14 200SX rwd with ABS will do same doing Doughnuts.. Even handbrake turns can do it sometimes again because your rear wheels are not turning but front wheels are putting the ABS into confussion.. hope that helps
