Engine warning light!?

Hi all ,
what's the most common fault for the engine warning light to come on?
It came on two months ago but went off after a day and has come back on today !
Car feels like it's running normal , boost and all is grand
any help would be great

If its itermittent, then its more than likely your knock sensor, similar thing happened to me last year and it turned out to be the knock sensor
 
Easy enough to change and around €80 new :thumbsup:

Just make sure thats it before buying it
 
It's still a good 1hr and 40mins away .
I'm just after checking it now and it's gone off !!
Will they still be able to pull up the code ?
 
Hey Coopster,
If the check engine light has come up you can read the code yourself, i did it fotr my b4 and my 94 single turbo legacy, have to do the knock sensor in the b4.
What are you driving??? :thumbsup:
