Powder coating calipers

Anyone every get their brake calipers powder coated? I was told if i wanted them done i would need to strip them of all their components ready for painting. Anyone know if calipers a easy to disassemble or any places that would do this?

they are easy enough to take apart but the problem would be trying to clean the powder off them if it got into the piston bore of the caliper this could be a headache to get it cleaned and might be hard to make leak proof when done as you would need to sand them to clean them , you would be as far on using caliper paint and leaving them assembled imo.....

I took mine off and left the pistons and seals in . Plugged the pipe holes and shot blasted and primed / sprayed them. Came up like new. Bit of effort but well worth it
