99 Sti into 94 WRX

Well lads one of the guys on MNC is thinking of getting a built 99 engine for his 94 wrx and was wondering if the engine would fit the 94 gearbox. I said this place would be the best to find out! Any help is much appreciated
 
yes will fit, the later engine will have more bellhousing bolt holes. just use the ones that line up with the gearbox
 
as above regards bellhousing bolt holes matching on the less few. But thats not a problem.



But is it long block built incl heads. This is where the prolems will begin on inlet manifold etc.
