Spacers??

Is anyone here using Spacers to help the wheel clear their calipers? I put one of the Brembo calipers i bought onto my track car yesterday to try my wheel against then but they are about 3mm too close. Are Spacers a good or bad idea? Which would be best make to go for? And where can i get some extended bolts for the wheel nuts also.

I would be afraid of spacers that stop the wheel center from sitting over the bit on the hub that sits into the back of the wheel,
so maybe hubcentric bolt on spacers would be more appropriate,
I have 20mm spacers that I use for the origional silver wheels, they bolt to the hub and then the wheels bolt to them,
The right job, I have Eibach spacers and they cost abour €240, If you are around naas, you can try them on,
I'll be using them for scooby shout out next weekend and then at the ISDC trackday, so in between they will be available if you want!
