oil temp sensor

ok, was doing a service on the car and there is a oil temp sensor tapped into the sump nut. long story short, the sensor needs to be replaced. where do i get one of these? and will the sump drain when the sensor is removed?

yes the oil will drain from the sump when you remove the sensor.

why do you need to change the sensor?

lots of places do the sensor but it depends on the make of guage the sender is feeding .

wires disconnected from the sensor and not enough wire to reconnect or even solder so need new unit.

going to gReddy gauge.
